Margate-born striker who progressed through Margate's youth ranks and was playing for the Under-18's during the 1997/98 season. By 1999/00 Shaun was a regular in the reserves and he stayed with the club for the 2000/01 campaign too.
On 13.2.01 Shaun made a one-off appearance for the first team when he came on as a substitute in a 2-1 defeat at Dover in the Kent Senior Cup. The match went to extra time and the Isle of Thanet Gazette said Shaun was "cruelly denied an equaliser by the Crabble pitch as a headed attempt stuck in the sandy goalmouth".
At the end of the season Margate's reserve team manager Steve Winch chose Shaun as his side's 'Player of the Year'.
Shaun joined Ramsgate for the 2001/02 campaign and then moved on to Herne Bay.
He returned to the Rams in October 2002 and his second spell with the club lasted until the summer of 2005 when he linked up with Herne Bay once more.
From 2006/07 to 2008/09 Shaun only played Sunday League football in the Thanet area but he signed for Kent League club Deal Town in the summer of 2009.
He left Deal at the end of the 2009/10 season and spent 2010/11 with Thanet Sunday Football League club Windsor Decor.
Shaun was still playing locally during 2011/12.
In the summer of 2013 he signed for Southern Counties East Football League outfit Canterbury and made his debut in a 2-0 defeat at Corinthian on 10.8.13.
