6' 0" tall French defender born in Paris who started his senior career with St.Etienne and played for France's Under-16's side during his time with the club.

In the early months of 2002 Romauld moved to England and had a short spell with Isthmian League club Windsor & Eton towards the end of the 2001/02 season, playing twice without scoring for them.

In the summer of 2002 he moved on to Carshalton and Romauld made 36 Isthmian League appearances (six as sub) without scoring for the Robins during 2002/03. He won the club's 'Chairman's Player of the Year' and 'Manager's Player of the Year' awards for the season.

In the summer of 2003 Romauld had a trial with Conference club Farnborough but ended up staying with Carshalton for the 2003/04 campaign. He made 41 Isthmian League appearances and scored two goals. Romauld also won a host of 'Player of the Year' honours including the awards from both the players and supporters.

In August 2004 he signed for Conference club Gravesend & Northfleet on a non-contract basis and played twice before being loaned to Bromley towards the end of September 2004.

Romauld scored once in three Isthmian League outings for Bromley before returning to Stonebridge Road in October 2004 and Gravesend then released him early in November 2004.

Romauld immediately joined Margate and manager Chris Kinnear told the Thanet Times "He's a good footballer and he's very quick."

Romauld usually played as a central defender but made his debut at left wing-back in a 5-1 win over Havant & Waterlooville in the Conference South at Margate's adopted home in Ashford on 13.11.04. Despite struggling with a groin injury he then played in the next nine matches, always at left wing-back, up to and including a 2-1 defeat at Welling on 28.12.04. Shortly before that game Margate's Conference South rivals Sutton and Maidenhead made seven day approaches for Romauld and Chris Kinnear told the Isle of Thanet Gazette "I've spoken to Rom about it - he just shrugged his shoulders and said he didn't know what he was going to do. It's down to him. He lives at Clapham Junction, so Sutton's very close for him."

After missing three games due to his groin injury Romauld eventually left Margate towards the end of January 2005 and signed for Sutton. He made his debut for them on 29.1.05 as they were thrashed 6-0 at home by Grays and only played once more before being released in February 2005.

Romauld returned to Carshalton for the remainder of the 2004/05 season and made 11 appearances for them in the Conference South.

In July 2005 he was signed by Scottish 1st Division club Clyde whose manager Graham Roberts had been in charge of Carshalton during Romauld's initial spell there. He scored twice from 13 league outings for Clyde during 2005/06 and Romauld also featured as a substitute when Clyde beat Celtic 2-1 in a Scottish Cup shock on 8.1.05. The game was shown live on Sky Sports and was particularly notable as former Manchester United star Roy Keane made his debut for Celtic in the tie. Romauld was released by Clyde at the end of the 2005/06 season.

In November 2006 he returned to the Isthmian League when he joined Tooting & Mitcham and Romauld made 28 league appearances without scoring during 2006/07. He stayed with the club for the 2007/08 campaign and scored once from 26 league outings (one as sub).

In the summer of 2007 Romauld linked up with Southern League Eastern Division outfit Fisher but towards the end of October 2007 they released him.

On 30.10.07 Romauld played for Conference South club Dorchester in a friendly against Torquay but the Dorset club didn't sign him and in November 2007 he rejoined Tooting & Mitcham.

Romauld went on to make 31 Isthmian League appearances (two as sub) for Tooting and scored twice before leaving the club in October 2008. A few weeks earlier - on 9.9.08 - he'd got one of the goals in a 2-1 home win over Margate.

Romauld then rejoined Carshalton - his third spell with the club - but only played four times (twice as sub) in the Isthmian League Premier Division before moving on to Croydon Athletic in February 2009.

He scored once from eight Isthmian League Division 1 South outings (one as sub) for Croydon before leaving the club at the end of the 2008/09 season.

In the summer of 2009 Romauld had a trial with Scottish League Division 3 club Stranraer and he was officially signed by the club in October 2009. In January 2010 he was sent off after the final whistle as Stranraer drew 1-1 with Livingston who scored an injury time equaliser. Romauld had been substituted earlier but picked up a red card for his protests about the amount of stoppage time added on at the end of the match. He made 21 appearances for Stranraer and scored twice during the 2009/10 campaign.

In May 2010 Romauld was given a new one-year contract by Stranraer who were a part-time club but early in 2011 his job meant he had to relocate to Dublin. He played in a friendly for University College Dublin in February 2011 but wasn't signed by the club and continued to commute to Scotland for the remainder of the season. Romauld was released by Stranraer in May 2011 having scored twice from eight first team appearances (two as sub) during 2010/11.
