Versatile player born in Rugby who played for Herne Bay, Leyton Orient's youth team and Ramsgate prior to joining Margate in August 1960.
He was principally a reserve team player and made 33 appearances for the second string during the 1960/61 season. Peter also appeared twice for the first team during the early part of the campaign, making his debut in the number five shirt during a 3-3 draw at Dover on 7.9.60.
