5' 10" tall striker born in Hackney to Nigerian parents who played for youth side Crayford Arrows and then had a spell at Dartford as a youngster.
In 2007 Ola moved north to study at the University of Cumberland and during the 2007/08 campaign he was on Workington's books, mostly featuring in their reserves.
At the end of October 2008 Ola signed for East of Scotland League outfit Gretna and he spent the remainder of the 2008/09 season there.
After finishing his university studies Ola signed a two-year contract with Maltese Premier League club Valetta in July 2009 and then joined Pieta Hotspurs on loan almost immediately.
He scored 12 goals for Pieta in the Maltese First Division during the remainder of the 2009 campaign.
Between seasons in Malta Ola returned to England to play for Cumberland County League side Silloth and in October 2009 he scored in a 4-2 win over Hearts of Liddlesdale having got down on his knees to head ball over the line from close range.
At the start of 2010 Ola returned to Valetta and in July 2010 he joined Cypriot club Alki Larnaca.
He then featured in a friendly for Leyton Orient at Dartford during a brief trial period in August 2010 before going back to Cyprus.
Ola went on to score three times in 14 outings for Alki Larnaca and then returned to the UK in the summer of 2011.
He had a trial with Kilmarnock before the start of the 2011/12 campaign but Ola ended up playing for Kent League club Erith for some of the season.
In the summer of 2012 he featured in some of Margate's friendlies and on 7.8.12 Ola scored in a 2-1 win over Horsham at Hartsdown Park having come on as a substitute.
Once Margate had obtained international clearance to sign Ola he made his competitive debut when he played up front in a 4-0 home defeat against Metropolitan Police in the Isthmian League Cup on 16.10.12. He featured once more - as a late substitute in a 2-0 win at Harrow in the Isthmian League Premier Division on 10.11.12 - before leaving the club soon afterwards.
In September 2013 Ola resurfaced at Premier Division outfit Metropolitan Police where his brother Tobi was a first team regular. However Ola only made one substitute appearance for the Met's reserves before leaving the club.
