6' 4" tall defender born in Chatham who started his career with Maidstone. During the early part of the 1985/86 campaign Micky had a loan spell at Canterbury and towards the end of the year he was loaned to Chatham. On 7.12.85 he scored for them in a 3-1 defeat at Thanet United.
In the summer of 1986 Micky joined Chatham on a permanent basis and spent 1986/87 and 1987/88 there before moving on to Folkestone.
He spent two seasons at Folkestone and on 1.1.90 Micky scored in a 1-1 home draw with Margate.
He joined Sittingbourne for the 1990/91 campaign and stayed with the Brickies for 1991/92. In March 1992 Micky was sent off in a 0-0 draw at Canterbury.
He linked up with Tonbridge for the start of 1992/93 and scored eight goals in 33 appearances (three as sub) as the Angels won the Kent League title. He was sent off twice - at Chatham in December 1992 and at Alma Swanley in January 1993.
In the summer of 1993 Micky signed for Margate and made his debut at centre-back in a 3-0 defeat at Sudbury on 24.8.93. He then featured in each of the next 14 games and played as a left-back, centre-back, midfielder and striker at various times. The Thanet Times said he was "ineffectual" in midfield during a 1-0 win at Havant on 4.9.93 and after wearing the number three shirt in a 2-1 win over Sudbury at Hartsdown Park on 26.10.93 Micky was loaned to Whitstable. He scored in a 6-0 win over Greenwich during his time with the Oystermen and at the end of November 1993 Micky returned to Margate.
On 30.11.93 he played at centre-back in a 1-0 defeat at Ashford and on 4.12.93 Micky featured in a 2-2 home draw with Bury, again as a central defender. A few days later he left Margate having made 17 appearances without scoring and joined Whitstable on a permanent basis.
In the summer of 1994 Micky rejoined Chatham and he stayed there until moving to Sheppey in the summer of 1997.
He left the Islanders to join Kent County League club Snodland for the 1998/99 campaign and then rejoined Whitstable in the summer of 1999.
Towards the end of 1999 Micky returned to Sheppey and he finished 1999/00 back at Snodland.
Micky was still playing for Snodland during the 2003/04 campaign by which time he was in his late 30's.
