5' 11" tall full-back born in the Shrewsbury area who moved to Sussex as a youngster and scored the winner for Hazelwick School's Under-14's side as they beat Cardinal Newman 3-2 to win the Sussex Schools' Cup Final in May 2004.
Jamie had spells on the books of Wimbledon and Charlton as a schoolboy and then spent the 2005/06 season in Brighton's junior sides.
He signed for Conference club Crawley in the summer of 2006 as part of their new youth scholarship scheme and Jamie made his first team debut in September 2006 aged just 16. In October 2006 he was reportedly interesting several Football League clubs but Jamie spent much of the 2006/07 campaign playing for Sussex County League club Oakwood under a dual-registration agreement with Crawley.
In February 2007 Jamie's displays for Oakwood earned him a call-up to the Sussex County League's representative side for a match against an Army X1 and he was also sent off playing for Oakwood's Under-18's in a game against Horsham that month.
In March 2007 Crawley loaned Jamie to Horsham YMCA and he played six times (once as sub) for them in the Isthmian League Division 1 South before the end of the 2006/07 season.
During the opening months of the 2007/08 campaign Jamie played a handful of games for Crawley before joining Margate on loan in November 2007. Player-manager Robin Trott told Margate's website "Jamie is young being only 19, but he has played a few games for Crawley this season and he was recommended to me." At the time Jamie was actually 17 and turned 18 in December 2007.
He made his debut at left-back in a 1-0 win at Billericay in the Isthmian League Premier Division on 24.11.07 and Margate's coach Steve McKimm told the Thanet Times "He did very well. He's got a bit of pace about him and is a strong defender. He also has the enthusiasm of youth."
Two days after his first outing for Margate Jamie played for Crawley as they beat visitors Burgess Hill 2-1 in a Sussex Senior Cup tie but he returned to wear the number three shirt again as Margate lost 2-1 to Boreham Wood at Hartsdown Park on 27.11.07. That was Jamie's last appearance and after sitting out the next two games his loan was terminated in December 2007. Robin Trott told the Isle of Thanet Gazette "He's a nice lad who's very wary about his game and he's filled a space for a while. He was a right-footed player playing at left-back but with Jimmy Jackson back there and Ryan Martin coming in, we've got our balance back on the left. He didn't feature at all on Saturday, which he wasn't happy with, and I wouldn't have been happy either. If he's not playing here, it's best he goes back, so it was a mutual decision."
In January 2008 Jamie joined Worthing on loan and made two appearances in the Isthmian League Premier Division before going back to Crawley. His older brother Dean was part of Worthing's squad at the time.
Jamie was released by Crawley at the end of the 2007/08 season and in the summer of 2008 he had trials with Doncaster and then Eastbourne Borough, playing in friendlies for both clubs.
In August 2008 Jamie signed for Conference South outfit Basingstoke and made nine appearances for them (two as sub) before leaving the club in November 2008.
He then joined Fisher, also of the Conference South, and a few weeks after linking up with the Londoners Jamie rejoined Oakwood, again on a dual-registration basis. He spent the next few months playing for Fisher when required and Oakwood at times when he wasn't needed by the Fish.
Towards the end of the 2008/09 campaign Jamie went to the USA to study and he became co-captain of Dallas-based Richland College who played in the National Junior College Athletic Association Division 3. He scored four goals from 16 appearances for them during the 2009 season and then made 12 appearances in midfield during 2010, scoring once.
As Jamie continued his studies he joined Midwestern State Mustangs of the National Junior College Athletic Association Division 2 for the 2011 campaign and his brother Dean was already an established player with the college team who were based in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Towards the end of 2011 Jamie briefly returned to England, along with Dean, and played a few games for his old club Oakwood in December 2011 and January 2012 before going back to America to continue his football career.
Jamie spent the 2012 season with St.Louis Lions of the United Soccer League's Premier Development League and once again played alongside his brother Dean there.
