6' 0" tall defender born in Margate who went to Hartsdown School and progressed through Margate's youth ranks. Glenn was in the Under-11's during the 1991/92 season and by the 2001/02 campaign he was playing regularly for the reserves having been on Margate's books for ten years.
Glenn continued to turn out for the reserves during 2002/03 and in March 2003 his fiance entered him into a 'Dreamboys' modeling competition without his knowledge. Glenn won and told the Thanet Times "I've always fancied myself as a bit of a model and had to do a dance at the audition. I like dancing, but usually after a few drinks. To get up there sober was a bit of a challenge." He then gave up his job as a self-employed carpenter to travel the world doing photo shoots for a few months.
After a spell in local amateur football Glenn returned to Margate for the 2007/08 season and became a regular in the reserves once more. On 2.10.07 he made his first team debut at centre-back in a 3-2 defeat against East Thurrock in an Isthmian League Cup tie at Hartsdown Park but it was Glenn's only senior outing. He spent the remainder of the campaign back in the reserves before leaving Margate at the end of the season.
Glenn then resumed his Sunday League career and was still playing locally at the start of the 2012/13 campaign before suffering a broken leg In October 2012. He recovered to play again during the 2013/14 season.
