5' 10" tall attacker born in Whiston, Merseyside who started his career with Morecambe during the club's time in the Conference before moving on to Lancaster.
In July 2008 Craig joined Welsh Premier League outfit Gap Connah's Quay but picked up an injury in a pre-season friendly which hampered his spell with the club.
In November 2008 Craig had trials with AFC Bournemouth and then Welsh club The New Saints before linking up with Burscough of the Conference North.
He scored once from four league outings for Burscough and in December 2008 Craig got two goals in a 4-1 home win over Everton in the Liverpool Senior Cup.
In the summer of 2009 he played in some friendlies for Witton but Craig ended up starting the 2009/10 campaign with Vauxhall Motors where he made five appearances without scoring before leaving the club.
After a spell out of senior football Craig joined Newtown in August 2010 and he scored twice from 14 outings (seven as sub) for the Welsh Premier League club before being released in November 2010.
He then had a short spell with Northern League Division 1 North outfit Prescott Cable and in December 2010 Craig signed for Stalybridge.
He went on to make ten appearances (nine as sub) in all competitions for the Conference North club and scored once before being loaned to Warrington in March 2011.
Craig spent the last few weeks of 2010/11 with Warrington and at the end of the season he was released by Stalybridge.
In the summer of 2011 he joined Southern League Premier Division club St.Albans after featuring in several friendlies for them but Craig only played twice (once as sub) before moving on to Leatherhead before the end of August 2011.
He scored twice from four Isthmian League Premier Division outings (one as sub) for Leatherhead and then in October 2011 Craig signed for Horsham.
He scored once from seven Premier Division appearances (two as sub) for the Sussex outfit and also got an FA Cup goal before moving on to Margate in December 2011.
Craig made his debut as a substitute in a 3-1 home defeat against Metropolitan Police in the Isthmian League Premier Division on 17.12.11 and after sitting out Margate's next match he came off the bench again in a 3-1 win at Aveley on 31.12.11. Craig also featured as a sub in a 4-1 win over Hastings at Hartsdown Park on 2.1.12 but that was his final appearance. Later in January 2012 he joined Conference South club Hampton & Richmond on a dual-registration basis but in early February 2012 Craig was released by Margate.
Not long after leaving Hartsdown Park Craig moved to America and in May 2012 he signed for New Orleans Jesters of the USL Premier Development League, the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid. The club played in the Mid South Division of the Southern Conference and in one of his first outings Craig was sent off in a match against El Paso. He scored twice from eight appearances for the Jesters before leaving the club in July 2012.
By the start of 2013 Craig was back in England and working as a coach at Queens Park Rangers. He'd previously coached at Bolton.
