Thanet-born player who first featured in the reserves as a 14 year-old during the 1970/71 season and played for them during the 1971/72 campaign too.
Colin stayed with Margate for the 1972/73 season and made a one-off appearance for the first team. He played as a centre-back in a Kent Floodlight Cup tie at Hastings on 15.11.72 that Margate lost 5-0.
He continued to be a regular in the reserves during the 1973/74 campaign and returned to play a few further games for them during the 1975/76 season before dropping into local football.
In the summer of 1978 Colin joined Ramsgate and he played regularly for the Rams during the 1978/79, 1979/80 and 1980/81 seasons. He also played for amateur club Northwood FC at that time.
