6' 0" tall midfielder born in Brent, London who started his career with Millwall. Anton progressed through the Lions' junior ranks and captained the youth team before breaking into the first team squad during the 2004/05 season.

On 8.1.05 he made his senior debut in an FA Cup tie at Wolves and Anton was substituted after 52 minutes as Millwall lost 2-0 whilst future Margate defender James Donovan was an unused sub for the Lions. Anton didn't feature in the first team again and in April 2005 he had a trial with Rotherham where he scored in a reserve team game against Walsall.

After being released by Millwall Anton played in friendlies for Gillingham, Chesterfield and Sheffield Wednesday during the summer of 2005 before joining Conference South club Eastleigh a few weeks into the 2005/06 season.

He scored once in four appearances (one as sub) for the Hampshire club before Eastleigh released him in November 2005. Manager Paul Doswell told the club's website "Anton's a decent player, but he's no better than we've already got."

Anton then signed for Margate and made his first appearance in a 3-2 win over Hampton & Richmond in an Isthmian League Premier League game at Hartsdown Park on 26.11.05. The Thanet Times said he played "a defence-splitting" pass to set up the winning goal for Charlie Taylor to cap what the paper called a "promising debut". Anton also played in midfield as Margate lost 3-1 at East Thurrock on 3.12.05 but left the club shortly afterwards.

Later in December 2005 he had a trial with Conference club Exeter and Anton was soon signed as a non-contract player by the Grecians. On 17.12.05 he scored on his debut as Exeter beat visitors Bishop's Stortford 2-1 in an FA Trophy tie and Anton told the club's website "This is a good club I want to spend a long time at. This was a dream debut for me and the goal I scored was definitely one of the best of my career."

In February 2006 Anton moved on to Conference South outfit Eastbourne Borough and in April 2006 they released him.

In the summer of 2006 he joined Fisher and Anton was ever-present until manager Justin Edinburgh left the club at the end of 2006. He'd scored six goals in the Conference South when he was released in January 2007 and Fisher signed former Margate player Gavin Heeroo to replace him.

Anton joined Conference club Grays immediately after leaving Fisher and he made his debut in a 3-0 defeat at AFC Hornchurch in an Essex Senior Cup tie on 30.1.07. He spent a few weeks with Grays before signing for Weymouth in March 2007.

Anton flourished with the Dorset club and on 16.9.08 he made his debut for England's non-league side in a 6-2 defeat against Bosnia & Herzegovina in Sarajevo. He'd made around 100 appearances for Weymouth, most of them in the Conference, when League Two club AFC Bournemouth took him back into the Football League on transfer deadline day at the end of January 2009.

Anton made his first team debut for Bournemouth as an early substitute in a 1-0 home win over Shrewsbury on 7.2.09 and by the end of the 2008/09 season he'd featured in 17 senior games. He scored once - in a 2-0 win at Chester on 18.4.09.

Anton really established himself during the 2009/10 campaign, scoring four goals from 49 appearances for the Cherries, and he was a fixture in the Bournemouth side during 2010/11 too.

In December 2010 Anton made national news when he was one of a group of black Bournemouth players who were asked to pay for their meal in advance in the town's Pizza Hut restaurant. The group claimed they were being racially discriminated against and a police officer had to be called after they were asked to leave and refused.

By the end of the 2010/11 season Anton had made 117 first team appearances for the Cherries, scoring ten goals, and on 1.8.11 he was signed by League One club Huddersfield for an undisclosed fee. Their manager Lee Clark told the club's website "Anton is a top quality performer with proven pedigree at League One level."

Anton made his debut for Huddersfield in a 1-1 draw with Bury at the Galpharm Stadium on 6.8.11 and on 29.10.11 he got the only goal of the game in a 1-0 win at Yeovil. By the end of the 2011/12 campaign he'd made a total of 30 appearances (14 as sub) without adding to his goal tally as Huddersfield gained promotion to The Championship.

During the first half of the 2012/13 season Anton only played twice for Huddersfield before joining League Two club Gillingham on loan for the remainder of the campaign at the end of January 2013.

He made his debut for the Gills as a substitute in a 1-0 home defeat against Wycombe on 4.2.13 and Anton then made his first start in a 1-0 win at Bradford on 9.2.13. His loan spell ended when he ruptured his anterior cruciate ligaments in a 1-0 win over visitors Rotherham on 1.4.13 and Anton then returned to Huddersfield having played 14 times (twice as sub) without scoring for Gillingham.

Anton didn't play again until December 2013 when he featured in Huddersfield's Under-21 side and having been unable to win a first team place he was loaned out to League One club Coventry in March 2014.

Anton made his debut for the Sky Blues in a 1-0 win over Stevenage on 26.3.14, almost a year since his last senior outing. The match was played at Northampton - Coventry's temporary home. Anton made five further appearances (one as sub) without scoring for City before the end of 2013/14.
